1. Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to outline the responsible, ethical, and transparent integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into coaching practices at Jump Coaching and Consulting, LLC. This policy aligns with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) AI Coaching Framework and Standards, ensuring the highest standards of quality, trust, and ethical use of AI tools in coaching interactions.
2. Scope
This policy applies to:
All coaches, employees, and contractors at Jump Coaching and Consulting, LLC.
AI systems and tools developed, acquired, or utilized within coaching practices.
AI interactions with clients, including data processing, goal tracking, and communication tools.
3. Guiding Principles for AI in Coaching
3.1 Ethical AI Use
Transparency: AI tools must clearly disclose their role, purpose, and limitations to clients, including that they are not replacements for human coaches.
Accountability: Coaches are responsible for AI use, ensuring tools align with ICF Core Competencies and that human oversight is available when necessary.
Bias Mitigation: All AI systems must undergo regular audits to identify and minimize biases, ensuring fairness and inclusivity.
Client Privacy: AI systems must adhere to data protection laws (e.g., GDPR) and ensure encryption, consent, and secure data handling practices.
3.2 Trust and Client Relationship
AI systems must be transparent about their capabilities and limitations, securing explicit client consent before AI interactions begin.
AI tools must promote trust by offering human support when needed for sensitive or complex coaching scenarios.
Respect for cultural sensitivity and client-specific needs must be built into AI communication features.
3.3 Alignment with ICF Standards
AI tools must integrate key coaching principles, including active listening, reflective questioning, and goal-setting, to maintain the integrity of the coaching process.
Tools must distinguish clearly between coaching, consulting and therapy, avoiding applications related to mental health treatment.
Quality assurance measures must be implemented to ensure that AI results align with professional coaching outcomes.
4. Key Guidelines for AI Integration
4.1 Development and Deployment of AI Tools
All AI tools must align with ICF AI Coaching Framework domains:
Foundation: Ethical AI mindset.
Co-Creating Relationships: Trust and safety in AI interactions.
Effective Communication: Active listening and adaptive responses.
Fostering Growth: Goal tracking, insights, and accountability.
Assurance and Testing: Continuous validation of AI reliability.

4.2 Prohibited Uses
AI tools must not:
Replace human judgment in critical coaching decisions.
Operate without client consent or transparency.
Process or store client data in non-secure environments.
Replace human coaching entirely without proper oversight.

AI tools should:
Support clients in setting, tracking, and achieving goals.

5. AI Tool Evaluation
To ensure AI tools meet Jump Coaching and Consulting, LLC and ICF standards, they must be evaluated using the following criteria:

7. Monitoring and Compliance
AI tools and systems will be continuously monitored to ensure compliance with Jump policy and ICF AI Coaching Standards.
Concerns or breaches must be reported immediately to Jump Coaching and Consulting, LLC at info@jumpcc.com.
Violations of this policy will result in corrective actions, including tool suspension, retraining, or disciplinary measures.
8. Policy Review
This policy will be reviewed annually to stay aligned with Jump Coaching and Consulting, LLC policies and ICF AI Coaching Standards, advancements in AI technology, and evolving coaching practices.
